Though I don’t buy into the Anthropogenic Global Warming stuff, I do think Michael Reynolds is on to some seriously good ideas.
No need for a power grid… no need for centralized sewage or water systems… and all with readily available materials. Awesome.
Whatever happens, whether it be climate change or societal breakdown or war, there’s a great need to break out of conventional methods of building. The current cost of putting a house together is ridiculous – and many homes will be darned near unlivable in the event of an EMP strike or a big spike in oil prices.Watch the whole documentary when you get a chance. It’s well worth seeing.
