In case it wasn’t noticed I changed when new posts go live. It used to be close to midnight Eastern Standard Time. Now it is earlier around 9:00pm. Just trying something new.

My son – who is 15 – was asking me about ISIS and why they would cut peoples heads off. He wasn’t so much asking for a real reason rather he couldn’t understand how someone could do something like that. He has been reading a book in English about the Nazi’s and Concentration Camps. Again – he said he couldn’t understand how people could be so mean and do things like they did. I dd not have a very good explanation. I told him evil exists in the world and I cannot understand the “how’s” and “why’s” of what they do. What I know is we are not like them and we need to do everything we can to prevent them from coming here.

Local Dollar Tree had vegetable seeds on clearance for .15 cents each. I bought all the heirloom varieties they had. Great deal!

I wonder if some intelligent life form orbiting the planet is looking down on us and watching everything we do – and wondering….”What the hell is wrong with this species?”

I like the term “Minuteman” to describe my preparations and what I consider myself. To be ready at a moments notice to react to a given situation to protect my family and stand up for my country. We need more Patriots and fewer crooked politicians.
