One of my favorite Youtube channels is the Military Arms Channel. Here is a very interesting video comparing several rifle calibers with regards to penetration with what many would find surprising results:
“I take out a .308, 7.62×39, 5.45×39 and a 5.56mm rifle to see how each of these rounds fair in the woods against modestly sized trees. For those worried about the welfare of the trees, they’re getting cut down in the spring to make room for more ranges and will be used for fire wood. It’s rough being a tree, I know.”

This guy can not tell the difference between a 1 foot and a 2 foot diameter tree. DUAH
About 30 years ago is shot through a full 2″ fir tree with a off the shelf 30-06 round with no problem.
I don’t think I would place much stock in this demonstration.
They may have been set with a lite load.
I think It makes more sense if this guy knew the difference between (( Diameter and Circumference.))
Perhaps he has been drinking and eating food with Fluoride in all of his life.
Yah that’s probably the case.
Hello the .308 rifle he was using has a much shorter barrel so therefore would not develop as much pressure as the longer rifles so less speed and foot pounds
The best protection from bullets is to keep constant pressure on the government, read books instead of watching the news, vote out radical communists like Obama, and to keep extremist penis hating lesbians like Hillary from ever gaining office.
