(Before It's News)

Nepal is in shambles right now because of the 7.8-magnitude quake that struck an area of central Nepal between Kathmandu and the city of Pokhara early on Saturday. Will the survivors be able to access pure drinking water? Knowing how to build these simple stoves could help.

Tent cities have sprung up for those displaced by the earthquake, which is now reported to have killed some 2,500 people.

There is a lot of debris, and here is how to use those materials to create stoves for boiling water and cooking. Hopefully, folks in the quake area will be able to hold on until help arrives. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
