Gold Tip Shooter Levi Morgan Wins Second Leg of ASA Pro/Am in Fort Benning, Georgia

Orem, UT -(Ammoland.com)- Gold Tip and Bee Stinger pro shooter Levi Morgan staged a dramatic comeback to win the second leg of the ASA Pro/Am circuit in Fort Benning, Georgia March 20-22.
His win came down to the final arrow on the last day as he went toe-to-toe with fellow Gold Tip/Bee Stinger Pro Tommy Gomez, who recovered from a misfire earlier in the competition to fight it out with Morgan on the final few arrows of the shoot. This is the second tournament of the 2015 ASA Pro/Am Tour and the second win for team GoldTip/Bee Stinger. Four of the five top pros were shooting Gold Tip and all five were shooting Bee Stinger Premier Plus stabilizer systems.
In addition to Morgan’s win, Art Brown captured his second win of the year in the Senior Pro division proving he is a force to be reckoned with. Thirteen other Gold Tip shooters claimed wins on the weekend in classes from Semi-Pro, K-50, Open A, Open B, Unlimited pins and more. Gold Tip is simply the most dominant arrow in 3-D archery.
The ASA competition round consists of two days of shooting at 20 lifelike 3-D animal targets. Pro classes must shoot at unknown distances, while other classes allow the use of rangefinders. In the pro classes, the top five shooters after 40 targets go into a Final Shootdown to shoot at five targets. A14-point ring is added for an additional risk and reward scenario that allows for aggressive changes in the leader board.
