Utah -(Ammoland.com)- Is hunting wild turkeys something you’d like to try, but you haven’t yet, because you’re not sure how to find the birds and hunt them?
If you answered yes, it’s time to head to your computer. The Division of Wildlife Resources has produced a series of five videos that will show you how.
The series is titled Turkey Hunting Basics. You can find it on theDWR’s YouTube channel.
The videos cover:
- Turkeys in Utah, and where to find them
- Turkey signs
- Turkey calls, and how to use them
- Shotguns and camouflage
- Regulations and permits
Mike Christensen, videographer for the DWR, is happy the agency was able to complete the videos before the start of Utah’s general statewide turkey hunt.
