Baraboo, WI -(Ammoland.com)- Pheasants Forever improved habitat for pheasants and other upland wildlife on more than 15,000 acres in Wisconsin in 2014.

This includes 580 wildlife habitat projects completed by the state’s 32 chapters that improved a record breaking 9,489 acres for wildlife, and 5,692 acres impacted by Pheasants Forever’s Farm Bill biologist program.

“Setting a new record for habitat achievements in 2014 is a testament to the volunteer efforts and dedication of our chapters in Wisconsin,” commented Doug Fendry, Pheasants Forever’s regional representative for Wisconsin. “Wisconsin chapters have a unified voice for upland hunting and a vision for the future of this outdoor tradition in the state. I look forward to working with our local volunteers to impact even more acres in 2015.”
