DeKalb, Illinois – Reed Snyder and J.W. Ramp are back to bring you Episode 144 of the AR-15 Podcast. First up, tune in to find out how to register so you can nominate a veteran/first responder for a Vortex Spitfire optic! See the show notes for details and show a veteran/first responder that you care.
This week, the guys cover a listener requested topic because your feedback matters! The subject? An AR15 build for home defense. What are the things to consider? What type of parts and accessories would you use? They start with what they mean by home defense and cover what it is and what it isn’t for the context of the discussion. Some of the obvious considerations they cover are carbine vs. pistol, and ballistics vs. home occupants. Other lesser thought of considerations they cover are noise and the challenges of an SBR if that’s something you need.
If there’s something you’d like to hear more about, write in with show topic suggestions.
Check out the show notes for links on all products and information in the show. Listen to the entire episode at www.ar15podcast.com/144/ for the tip of the week and as always listener feedback. The hosts at the AR-15 Podcast, want to hear what you, the listener, think so be sure to tune in and let us know what you’d like to hear, what we’re doing right, and how we can improve!
