Keith Warren Goes Crossbow Hunting for Monster Saskatchewan Whitetails
New Braunfels, TX -(Ammoland.com)- This week, join us on The High Road with Keith Warren as Keith and his videographer experience some incredible early season success.
Trophy whitetails were abundant this year in eastern Saskatchewan along the Woody River.
“I’ve been hunting this particular area in Canada for over two decades and it’s one of the best kept secrets for trophy whitetails that I know of,” says Warren.
On this show, Keith decided to hunt with a crossbow and it proved to be a good decision. The deer taken on this episode are your typical big-bodied Canadian whitetails and it is amazing to see how quickly and ethically a well-placed shot bring downs these big bucks. The guys were using Darton’s Rebel 135 SS crossbow tipped with Gravedigger broadheads. The energy these new crossbows develop and the speed the arrows travel is mind-boggling as clean pass thru shots are almost commonplace today.
The High Road with Keith Warren airs four times weekly on the Pursuit Channel (DirecTV 604 and Dish 393). Air times are Mondays at 3:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m., and Thursdays at 12:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. (EST).
