LARAMIE, Wyo. -(Ammoland.com)- Warren Ranch, located near Cheyenne, WY, will be supporting the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt for the fifth consecutive year–this time with a gold-level sponsorship.

Susan and Doug Samuelson, owners of the Warren Ranch, have been supporters of the event since the hunt’s inception in 2013.

The Samuelsons continue their sponsorship because they see the value the hunt holds within the Wyoming Women’s Foundation (WYWF), and they recognize the opportunity to partner with the organization in an effort to create change across Wyoming for women and girls.

So far the hunt has raised more than $280,000 for grants and special projects that support the hunt and help fulfill WYWF’s mission.

“Warren Ranch is happy to sponsor activities that support the people and conservation of the state of Wyoming,” Susan said. “The Wyoming Women’s Foundation accomplishes both of those goals with the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt. We are proud that Wyoming hosts such a premier event for women,” she added.

In its fifth year, the country’s first all-women’s hunt will be held Oct. 12-15, 2017 and bring together more than 40 female hunters from across the nation at the Ranch at Ucross in northeast Wyoming.

The event features a weekend of hunting, mentorship and camaraderie, as well as raising funds and awareness for the Wyoming Women’s Foundation.

Please visit the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt webpage for more information on sponsorship and individual participation, including scholarships. Based on their level contribution, each sponsor will have the opportunity to invite women to hunt at the event.

The foundation is also seeking dinner sponsors and in-kind donations for its fundraising auctions on Oct. 13.

About the Wyoming Women’s Foundation:
The Wyoming Women’s Foundation is a priority fund of the Wyoming Community Foundation, which granted out over $6 million to nonprofits across the state in 2016. The Women’s Foundation builds on a permanent endowment that will ensure funding to enhance the lives of women and girls in Wyoming for generations to come. It makes grants to organizations that help Wyoming women and girls attain economic self-sufficiency, creates statewide awareness of the barriers to economic self-sufficiency, and supports systems change to eliminate those barriers. Since its inception in 1999, the foundation has invested $832,000 into almost 100 organizations.
