Boston Bombing Suspect Identified From Lord And Taylor Video
Law enforcement authorities are reporting that they may have identified a possible suspect in the Boston Bombings using a video analysis supplied by a Lord & Taylor’s department store near the site of the bombing.
The critical details of the story have yet to be released but CNN’s John King is reporting that the FBI will be holding a news briefing shortly.
UPDATE: THE FBI HAS JUST RELEASED PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF THE SUSPECTS WHICH CAN BE VIEWED HERE.
CNN is withholding a detailed description of the suspect at the moment, stopping at describing the suspect only as a “dark-skinned individual” because other details are sensitive to investigation.
Additional video footage supplied from a TV station is also said to have helped in making a clear identification of the suspect according to CNN.
The Lord and Taylor’s department store is located at 760 Boylston Street in Boston and located across the street from the location of the second bombing.

According to reports, the video clearly shows the dark-skinned manned placing a back pack believe to contain a bomb in the exact place the second explosion took place.
Authorities stated that after enhancing the video they were able to make a positive identification of the suspect in question.
There are no answers at this time whether the attacks are domestic or foreign related.
In related news, the FBI has leaked some photos of the evidence they have collected at the crime scene.
Boston Marathon bomb scene pictures taken by investigators show the remains of an explosive device. The photos were produced by the Joint Terrorism Task Force of Boston and provided to Reuters on April 16 by a U.S. government official who declined to be identified.
On Wednesday morning, a federal law enforcement source with firsthand knowledge of the investigation told CNN that a lid to a pressure cooker thought to have been used in the bombings had been found on a roof of a building near the scene. >
One bomb was housed in a pressure cooker hidden inside a backpack, the FBI said in a joint intelligence bulletin.
The device also had fragments that may have included nails, BBs and ball bearings, the FBI said.
The recovered parts include part of a circuit board, which might have been used to detonate a device.
A law enforcement official said Monday’s bombs were probably detonated by timers. But the FBI said details of the detonating system were unknown.
Scraps of at least one pressure cooker, nails and nylon bags found at the scene were sent to the FBI’s national laboratory in Virginia, where technicians will try to reconstruct the devices, the agent leading the investigation said Tuesday.
The U.S. government has warned federal agencies in the past that terrorists could turn pressure cookers into bombs by packing them with explosives and shrapnel and detonating them with blasting caps.
The pieces suggest each of the devices was 6 liters (about 1.6 gallons) in volume, a Boston law enforcement source said.
“It has the hallmarks of both domestic and international (attacks), and you can see either side of that,” former FBI Assistant Director Tom Fuentes told CNN.
