Three Brooklyn men were arrested for allegedly attempting to fly to Syria and join ISIS. The FBI scooped up Abror Habibov, 30, Akhror Saidakhmetov, 19, and Abdurasul Hasanofvich Juraboev, 24, during raids earlier this afternoon.
FBI agents reportedly believe that the three Brooklyn attempting to join ISIS would have come back to New York City and attempted to pull off a terrorist attack. The federal law enforcement agency also reportedly noted that while the ISIS terrorism threat potentially posed by the Brooklyn men was “aspirational” and not “operational” the intent to join the Islamic State was “real.” Click here to read more about the three Brooklyn men arrested for attempting to join ISIS.
