Newt Gingrich slammed President Obama and Hillary Clinton for being “willing to risk American lives” by allowing in Syrian refugees.
He held up what he described as the two opposing biases of Donald Trump and Obama and Clinton; Trump’s bias, he said, was American safety, while Obama and Clinton’s is “appeasing left-wing international groups and terrorist groups.”
“The obvious fact is we have no capacity, zero, to vet people coming out of Syria.”
But he said the biggest recent dangers to Americans have come from inside its borders.
“And so we’re going to have to adopt policies both for foreigners and for Americans if we’re going to protect the country.
