What is the function of the government?
Some would be surprised to learn that there main function isn’t to grow as large and bloated as possible, regulate businesses at an unreasonable rate; collect taxes or create laws that benefits them.
Actually, it is the preamble of the U.S. Constitution that gives us clear direction on the role of government, and its priority.
It starts out with three surprising words; WE THE PEOPLE…that says everything we need to know about who the Government is supposed to be.
But it goes on to say that our Founders created our Constitution in order to form a “more perfect union”.
And how did they intend We The People as the government to form this more perfect union? Glad you asked.
They only asked 5 things of We The People.
From these 5 articles all the laws of the land should flow.
I would argue that isn’t by happenstance but by design.
Those who read this blog regularly know that is the purview from which most stories come from or ultimately have to do with, so I will put that aside for now.
I think that is pretty clear, but apparently many in power, especially in the upper echelons of power do not.
They are working from a different agenda than the agenda given in the preamble of our U.S. Constitution.
How many dead bodies on the streets of Europe will it take for leftists to realize that we are at war?
