My thoughts on the five dangerous Taliban leaders and detainees from Gitmo being exchanged for what appears to be a U.S. Army deserter (Sgt Bowe Bergdahl) and possibly a traitor as follows. That was one of the stupidest, ill-conceived trades ever. Our national policy has always been that “we never negotiate with terrorists.” Well, that national policy has gone to the wayside. That is what happens when you have someone with only community organizer capabilities trying to be president of the United States (POTUS). He does not know how to negotiate. He gives away the store on many of his unilateral decisions.
Those five former Taliban Gitmo detainees will get back into the fight. Next thing you will know is that the kidnappings of Americans throughout the world will be on the increase so that the terrorists can trade for the many other Gitmo detainees. If Obama does not want any prisoners in Gitmo, then he should approve a “take no prisoners” policy. That way, we would not need to waste the time, effort, and money to incarcerate those international killers.
Every time President Obama accomplishes anything, he spikes the ball in the end zone and makes a big media event out of it. However, every time, it backfires in his face because everything he does is because of political reasons, not for the good of the nation or the people. When he killed Osama bin Laden(OBL), he spiked the football and let the media/press know of the Seal Team 6 involved in the assassination. Consequently, a couple of weeks after the OBL killing, the Taliban retaliated and killed Seal Team 6 members when the Taliban shot down a helicopter they were in and killing all aboard. When Obama made a surprise visit to the troops in Afghanistan a couple of weeks ago, his press secretary released the name of the top CIA official in Afghanistan causing the administration to pull him out of there and, thereby, ruining his career. Now, we have this Bergdahl swap for five of the deadliest Taliban prisoners in Gitmo, and he again spiked the football, which has blown up in his face.
Obama violates the Constitution left and right and does not keep his oath of office. This time, he is aiding and abetting the enemy, which is a treasonous crime. He is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. Consequently, I firmly believe that we should impeach Obama in the U.S. House of Representatives, convict him in the U.S. Senate, and remove him from office. This is the worst POTUS I have ever known in my entire 72-year life. President Obama runs the most corrupt administration in U.S. history. Those are my thoughts.
