Obama calls for a new “legal regime” to detain people who MAY commit crimes in the future. He speaks of potential terrorists and mentions Al Qaeda. If we didn’t know Obama, that might have lent some legitimacy to his designs and suggested he wants to keep us safe. However, Janet Napolitano, whom he appointed as Homeland Security head, thinks conservatives are the biggest threat to security, having issued guidelines to police forces around the nation fingering people who are anti-abortion and excessively obsessed with the Constitution as potential threats. Further, without a stitch of evidence, the leftwing media and politicians laid the Tucson shootings at the feet of dissidents who are not in line with Obama’s increasingly autocratic and Marxist regime.

So while Obama’s proposed dragnet may in fact net a few real Al Qaeda operatives, American-born dissidents could also be hauled into court as well and kept under lock and key indefinitely on “suspicion” and due to “tainted evidence.”
