iphone glitch/Pat-Down/day at Midway
dec 2. 7:45 am direct flight from Cle arr Stl at 8:45 am. set iphone alarm for 6 am. uh oh, alarm didn\’t go off (iphone alarm glitch)? woke up 6:20 am. drive like mad to return rental, catch shuttle to airport. cle doesn\’t have self checkin stations so get in line. check bag, go to security at far end of terminal. about 10 people in security line. moving SLOW. get body scan. have a sweater on with a zipper at neck. 15 minutes until plane leaves. security asks if i have a necklace on. WTF? I have a zipper on my sweater! Pat down begins…ends. whatever at this point. run to gate…at end of terminal, of course. seat just given to standby person on full flight to stl. get sent to chicago and waited for 1:15 to stl. which was late. got on plane. sat at gate until 3:30 pm because baggage loading was running behind. got home 5:30 pm! ugly travel day!
