The TSA has Detained Sen. Rand Paul for Refusing a Full Body Pat-Down.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – U.S. Senator Rand Paul has been detained at Nashville International Airport after failing a body scan.

Senator Paul's communications director said the Transportation Security Administration is holding him in order to do a complete pat down.

The Kentucky Senator is the son of GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Ron Paul tweeted that Rand was "being detained by TSA for refusing full body pat-down after anomaly in body scanner in Nashville."

No other details were known.
