Why Is Congress Silent When Asked About Department of Homeland Security Buying 450 Million Rounds Of Hollow Point Ammunition?

The Health Ranger, Mike Adams posted an excellent article today title Department of Homeland Security buying up enough ammo to wage seven-year war against the American people. I recommend reading it here: http://www.naturalnews.com/035649_DHS_ammunition_domestic_war.html#ixzz1sodRmIUw

I wrote to Congresswoman Mazie Hirono asking why is the DHS buying so many bullets, bullets that are designed to kill people and received a non-reply. Her reply just stated:

"Thank you for your comments regarding the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. I appreciate hearing from you on this important issue.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was created by the Homeland Security Act of 2002, with the mission of preventing terrorist attacks, border protection, and natural disaster relief in the United States. The Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other components of DHS assist in this mission.

Rest assured that I will keep your views in mind should the House of Representatives consider related legislation."

I wrote back demanding to know why DHS is buying so many bullets and still have not received a reply after two and a half weeks.

Why wont the Congress answer simple questions from concerned citizens? Have our representatives forgotten who they work for? Granted, Mazie Hirono has voted for every bill that takes away citizens constitutional rights so why would one expect her to answer such a question?

As Mike Adams stated in his article there is absolutely no reason for a domestic agency to be buying 450 million rounds of hollow point ammunition unless they are planning to start a war.

Americans need to ask their representatives to answer the question of why the Department of Homeland Security is buying so much ammo and demand the Congress reign in this out of control department.
