Doctor Who, the cult hit TV program about a myserious alien man called the Doctor who travels through space and time in a blue phone box, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Over the course of its celebrated run, 11 (going on 12) actors have portrayed the Doctor in close to 800 episodes, and yet the popularity and novelty remain.
