Bill To Repeal The Patriot Act and FISA is Making It’s Way Through Congress

Many of us were outraged when we heard about the NSA’s domestic spying programs from the documents that Ed Snowden leaked to The Guardian. The thing is other whistelblowers have been trying to tell us about this stuff for years!
In response we now hear politicians talking about better “transparency” when they violate our 4th Amendment rights under the Constitution. The truth is that “transparency” is not good enough!
Apparently Rep. Rush Holt from New Jersey felt the same way when he introduced The Surveillance State Repeal Act (H.R. 2818) which will repeal the USA PATRIOT Act and the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 among other things.
Currently the bill has been referred to commitee. If you agree that our freedom is more important than the illusion of security, you need to contact your representatives and tell them to support this bill using the link below:
