Self-driving Uber vehicle on its side after a collision in Tempe, AZ
As if Uber didn’t have enough bad news with scandals and such, photos posted to twitter Friday (24 March 2017) how a driverless uber on its side after a collision with another car.

Uber just started using autonomous Volvo ‘headless’ vehicles last month to pick up passengers in Arizona. There was only a Uber safety driver in this vehicle.
As of the beginning of March, safety drivers had to take back control an average of once per .8 miles.
According to Tempe Police, the incident took place at approximately 6:25 p.m.. The self-driving car was heading south on McClintock Drive when another car failed to yield, while turning left at Don Carlos Drive.
The cars, according to police, collided, and the self-driving car rolled onto its side.
An Uber spokeswoman did confirm that the crash occurred and that the images are real, but declined to comment on whether there were any passengers in the Uber or if anyone was hurt.
