*this is a developing story and will be updated as information comes in* Initial reports say that a person drove a vehicle into multiple vehicles including a police cruiser then struck several pedestrians near the Rayburn building that holds the U.S. House of Representatives offices. Police initially tried to stop the vehicle near the Library of Congress but the driver refused. and Capitol Hill police were forced to shoot. Despite barricades and law enforcement efforts, the vehicle continued towards House offices forcing Capitol Hill police to shoot. An image of the vehicle shows bullet holes in the windshield. It is unknown if this was just a police chase gone wrong or a terrorist act. The driver is now in police custody. CDN –
