Miranda Lambert has released a two-disc monster album that tells the story of a breakup, heartbreak and breaking through it all to get back on the horse. The Weight of These Wings, Miranda’s eighth studio album, is almost completely self-written with just 4 of the 24 songs coming from other songsmiths and comes after her extremely public breakup with Blake Shelton. “Tin Man,” the first track on the second disc, starts off with uncompressed acoustic guitar and some soft synthesizer in the background, with only a single bass drum coming in later.
