Trump Is Suckered into Syria!
Despite being the author of 18 pre-election “tweets” unequivocally asserting that the U.S. should avoid any further military involvement in Syria, Donald Trump has done a 180 degree about face and launched 59 Tomahawk missiles against this sovereign nation due to an alleged Sarin gas attack on his own people by Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad
The entire scenario reeks of yet another “Wag the Dog” false flag scenario. No matter from what perspective this alleged Sarin gas attack is examined, it simply makes no sense.
Only a week before, the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., Nikki Haley, stated that replacing Assad in Syrian was no longer something that was considered a necessity, and the Trump administration declared that replacing Assad could wait until the Syrian people decided to do so. Peace talks were progressing, and the Syrian Army was constantly winning battles and skirmishes against their rebel opposition, mainly Al-Qaeda and ISIS fighters whom the U.S., ironically, has been supporting in a misconceived effort to remove Assad from office.
Only five days prior to these attacks, the Trump administration thru Secretary of State Rex Tillerson made it clear that Assad remaining in power would not be seen as an obstacle to peace talks. Therefore, it is incomprehensible that Assad, with everything going his way, would jeopardize this international progress by resorting to chemical attacks on his own people. It simply strains credulity that Assad would initiate such attacks and thereby invited retaliation from The West.
Setting aside the fact that, according to the Obama administration, all chemical weapons had been removed from Syria years ago, we are now supposed to believe that Assad somehow manufactured new weapons undetected, and decided to use them against his own people in order to curry favor with The West? This is true insanity, and anyone who swallows this red herring is a fool.
Unfortunately, the label of True Fool in this equation must be reserved for President Donald Trump. With the simple expedient of his underlings producing photos and videos of unknown and undetermined provenance and waving them under his nose showing children reputedly dying in agony, Trump’s knee-jerk reflex to “save the children” (where have we heard that one before?) is given to us as the justification for the launch of 59 Tomahawk missiles to rain death and destruction upon a sovereign nation which has done nothing to harm Americans or American interests.
Despite the immediate flag waving and congratulations of predictable lunatics like Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, and contrary to the plaudits of pundits from Fox News and other media, this act does NOT signal a rational response to this manufactured incident; nor does it prove that “America is Back!” to the rest of the world. Rather, it signals to any thinking adult that the American war machine is in the hands of an easily led, emotionally unstable populist who has surrounded himself with a cast of characters who are beholden to and agents of a foreign power in the Middle East, the only true beneficiary of this asinine assault upon the sovereignty of Syria – the State of Israel.
If the soul raison d’etre of using U.S. military force is the mistreatment or death of citizens by a sovereign nation, then what are we to do when North Korea starves its people to death; or Sudan enslaves its children; or Ruwanda suffers another slaughter between the Hutus and Tootsi tribes? Are there ever any limits to America’s entanglements and military intervention in the affairs of other nations? Will the chasm of unfulfilled obligations of the American Government towards its own citizens ever be answered or addressed before we go to fight yet another war to protect the rights of others while still ignoring the creeping poverty and silent despair of our own people?
Once again, American blood, treasure and ultimately any fragments of moral authority we may have left are being squandered upon the altar of Middle East politics, oil, and the territorial ambitions of the one remaining super-state which controls the politician in our White House. Yet again, America has taken another step on the path to World War III, and one can only hope and pray that somehow rational minds will find a way to stop the carnage that The Illuminati have prepared to fill the coffins which will spread like weeds around the nuclear landscapes of our devastated Earth should sanity no longer prevail.
