Susan Rice doesn't know about unmasking

Oh my .. the same top Obama official that went on news shows after Benghazi and falsely claimed that it was caused by an internet video has now been fingered for unmasking a Trump team member. A Fox News reporter broke the story that Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice is the person responsible for having unmasked American citizens possibly including Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn. Unmasking, by itself, is not illegal. The fact that Gen. Flynn’s name ended up in widely disseminated reports and released publicly, however, could result in a felony charge. Likely knowing full-well that her politically-motivated activities could result in a federal prison term, Rice said this when interviewed on March 22nd: https://youtu.be/wuXpCfpnjpc Rice, with 100% clarity says she saw no Russian connection to Trump, but that doesn’t release her from having possibly illegally leaked the private details of an American citizen. The interview may have seemed like a great idea several days ago, but now Rice refuses to comment on Monday’s revelations that it was her who authorized the unmasking of U.S. citizens. At this time, nothing described is illegal. Simply unmasking someone so that other authorized persons can understand context is normal as long as the unmasking adds to the value of foreign intelligence. The real concern is the dissemination of the unmasked information as was the case with Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn and the fact that Rice disavowed any knowledge of the act she directly authorized – and that smells like a cover-up. So how did Flynn’s name end up in the papers? Check out Dr. Evelyn Farkas’ interview with MSNBC’s Mika Brzenzski HERE. How closely was Rice tied to that effort? It’s hard to say now, but heck, I’m sure we’ll learn even less once she is called to testify to congress and spends eight hours repeating, “I decline to comment on the advice of counsel.” CDN – http://www.conservativedailynews.com
