BLACK FLAG? Even Former Allies of Nemtsov indicate Assassination was NOT by Putin

Thursday, March 5, 2015 22:03

(Before It's News)

Three data points including Mikhail Gorbachev:

1) Irina Khakamada, a prominent opposition figure who co-founded a liberal party with Nemtsov, blamed a climate of intimidation and warned that the murder could herald a dangerous destabilization.

“It’s a provocation that is clearly not in Putin’s interests, [the killing] is aimed at rocking the situation,” she said in remarks carried by RIA Novosti news agency.

For above, see: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/world-news/boris-nemtsov-killed-russia

2) Another former adviser, used stronger language: Mikhail Delyagin – a top advisor to Nemtsov for a year and a half – said that Putin didn’t do it, and compared it to the shootdown of Malaysian Flight 17 over Ukraine:

“The fact is obvious: this [assassination] is a Malaysian Boeing, shot down by the Nazis at the walls of the Kremlin.”

3) Mikhail Gorbachev told Deutsche Welle the killing could have been a provocation, aimed at “destabilizing the situation in the country, at heightening confrontation” (see de website “World leaders condemn killing of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov”) and stronger language by Gorbachev domestically, to Sputniknews:

“The assassination of Boris Nemtsov is an attempt to complicate the situation in the country, even to destabilize it by ratcheting up tensions between the government and the opposition,” Gorbachev said.

“Just who did this is hard to say, let’s not jump to any conclusions right now and give the investigators time to sort this all out,” he added.

4) Fourth point: Cui Bono (who would benefit?) to have broad daylight assassination in front of the Kremlin, as opposed to poisoning somewhere far away?

5) Fifth point: Unless one adopts Fascist/Stalinist principles, innocent until proven guilty is the norm

I don’t know what the  truth will turn out to be, let’s let the investigations proceed, instead of having Washington try to score anti-Putin points before the investigation has barely started in an effort to bolster Washington’s pro-coup position on Ukraine and hegemony everywhere. I also don’t see a “black flag” for every single situation, but as history teaches us (uncensored, not sanitized history) it’s not something we can rule out either:
