It is reallyinteresting: as far as we know, the United States is the only country in the world to have used nukes in a war: and, of course “we” justified the act as the more humane of options: invading Japan with troops would have killed hundreds of thousands of “our boys”. Better to whack a bunch of the eemy in his homeland and terrorize them into surrendur, than to get our own troops killed.
The United States has been very jealous of its nuclear might, still claiming the moral high ground by keeping the technology out of the hands of “primitive belligerants” who are not as “moral” as w are. Why, they’d have the audacity to use these terrible weapons against “civilians.” MOREHERE
