USS Mahan Fires Warning Shots at Iranian Vessels approaching the US Naval group at high speeds. The Iranian vessels refused to heed radio contact so the warships successfully stopped the approach with warning shots.
Not far from Ukraine’s border is a Russian military base that is housing over a thousand military vehicles and tanks. Though Russia does not seem to be in a offensive mode it would not be hard to rapidly back up the separatist in an all out Kiev onslaught. Perhaps this is why President Obama has sent so much hardware to Poland preparing to back Ukraine in the very near future. As well Russia has over 75 helicopters in the region too.
Russia again in only a week losses another foreign diplomat, this time it is the consulate general to Greece, Andrei Malanin age 55. According to his co-workers he never complained of any health problems. He was athletic and enjoyed running. According to local authorities he was found dead in his apartment
