(Before It's News)

In this out of control, unpredictable world in which we live, it is becoming imperative for us to take whatever steps possible to protect ourselves from any and every perceived danger.  How long must we wait, and how many people must die, before we pass common sense legislation to regulate the use of deadly assault trucks.  Following are some of the common modifications that distinguish a regular truck from an assault truck.

Jacked up frame to allow for greater clearance.

Wide knobby tires for greater traction

Brush guards to protect the engine compartment

Black paint job – because it’s scary

Automatic transmission to facilitate effortless shifting

Curb feelers to detect the presence of unsuspecting pedestrians.

If a truck possesses any two of these features it should be considered an assault truck and require a background check, a special license, and to be registered as a dangerous vehicle.
