DAMASCUS, SYRIA 6.11.2016 – The Russian Air Force resumed their airstrikes over the western outskirts of Aleppo on Sunday, targeting Jaysh Al-Fateh’s (Army of Conquest) positions at several suburbs.

Led by their Su-34 fighter jets, the Russian Air Force began the day by conducting several airstrikes over the Al-Assad Suburb in western Aleppo. Following the attack on the Al-Assad Suburb, another Russian air battalion carried out a series of airstrikes over the Al-Mansourah, Minyan, and Rashideen 5 suburbs.

According to a military source in Aleppo, the Russian airstrikes killed several members of Jaysh Al-Fateh, while also inflicting heavy damage to their military equipment. The Russian Air Force, alongside their Syrian counterparts, just started their air raids over the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project; this small district has been the recipient of several attacks from the aforementioned air forces.
