Syrian Army Gains More Areaas along Aleppo-Hama Highway
Following the previous gains in northern Hama, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) continued operations against the joint forces of Ahar al-Sham, Jabhat al-Nusra, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and linked militant groups. The army and the NDF seized the highway barier, the nearby hilltop and the Bansal school at the Aleppo-Hama highway south of the militant-contolled town of Morek. Earlier this wee, the government foces also seized two imporatnt hills – Tell Bazam and Tell Masin – north of the town of Souran. The army and the NDF keep the initiative in the province.
