I don’t think that’s a meteor impact crater, I believe its burning gas well.
Neil Armstrong is correct. The first video is a crater in Uzbekistan that locals call “The Door to Hell”, as seen in this video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D28vlnUQfSs. Since the video was posted up on YTube in 2008 it’s safe to say that it’s not the meteor impact site.
