Florida sinkhole opens under bedroom in night killing man: Expect more of same (Photos)
Sinkholes kill. On Feb 28, shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday, a sinkhole opened under Jeff Bush’s bedroom in Seffner, Florida, a suburb of Tampa. His brother, Jeremy, unsuccessfully attempted a rescue after Jeff disappeared into the sinkhole, and had to be rescued from the sinkhole himself.
Jeremy and four other people, including a 2-year-old child, escaped from the blue, one-story 1970s-era home in Seffner, Florida, a Tampa suburb. The sinkhole is still growing and homes in the area have been evacuated.
On Feb 28, the night the sinkhole opened, the USGS LISS charts were black with intense shaking worldwide. The earth wobble is escalating due to the near approach of Planet X (Nibiru). The Bush family heard a sound like a car crash coming through the house from the back bedroom and rushed in to find part of a mattress sticking out of the sinkhole. Thirty-six year old Jeff disappeared into the sinkhole that opened under his bed– the floor just opened and swallowed Jeff. The family could hear, but not see Jeff in the sinkhole. Jeff called out for his brother as he fell.
Jeremy said, “I heard my brother screaming and I ran back there and tried going inside his room, but my old lady turned the light on and all I seen was this big hole, a real big hole, and all I saw was his mattress.”
Jeremy frantically tried to rescue his brother by standing in the hole and digging at the rubble with a shovel. The first deputy on the scene pulled Jeremy from the edge of the growing sinkhole, as it was still collapsing, said Jessica Damico, a spokesperson for the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. The sinkhole continues to expand, and the house has been deemed unsafe for rescuers to search.
