Nibiru is a comet swarm, not a planet. Mathematical projections (from Ice Cores) indicates that it will pass through the inner solar system by the end of 2017. Russian sources suggest by 2014. Some of these meteorites have already struck (Sep. to Nov. 2010). The meteors appear to be devoid of volatiles and may became noticeable only if they are close enough to be heated by the Sun’s heliosphere. The main threat has been hidden from us in plain sight.
Should even a modest impact (or massive atmospheric explosions) occur, civilization could collapse. There could be global weather changes. Earth could even be return to Ice Age conditions – and mass starvation would follow. Tsunamis, floods, gigantic mud slides and meteorite falls igniting fires over wide areas could occur. Continents could slightly move and magnetic poles could change magnitude and/or even re-align.
World governments may be aware of this impact threat. International (UN like) and world actions, unusual activity in the financial sector, energy sector and military (Martial Law) sector might be expected prior to this threat. Massive population relocation to hospitable climates could be required provoking major wars for survival. Russian, a country most affected, could be preparing, but not alarming, its citizens through its NEWS media by reporting these possibilities, but including the inaccurate ‘Nibiru is a planet’ concept (to lessoning potentially alarming scientific verification of this threat).

I appreciate what Jaywill writes, it may raise the thoughts of some to the possibility of a passing heavenly body that can cause a massive global calamity. Certainly we will not see this announced through the media establishment, never mind due to a government cover-up over what they have known since the Pioneer probe days, but just from a default military-imbued government mentality. However, we know that the government has an active cover-up campaign over Planet X since the earth 1980s. Proof of this is here:

The prior link takes you to an article published in a now-defunct science magazine outlining the trajectories of Pioneer 10 and 11; its the direction 10 we are interested in, notice the references to the “Dead Star” and 10th planet (Planet X). Lots of other proof of pubic Planet X discussion is available, one interesting one is that is a published article on Harvard Universities public archives by Richard Harrington discussing the presence of “Planet X” (named by Percival Lowell, an early American 20th century astronomer). Richard Harrington was the chief U.S. naval astronomer who died young, many of us believe he was killed by the CIA because he actively pursued public awareness of his Planet X work.

We know (also by other sources not mentioned here) that the Planet X cover-up started in the early 1980s because ever since then, open discussion of Planet X by astronomers and astrophysicists is not done. The killings of astronomers (or their unusual deaths) was one CIA option if any were not to comply. If you doubt this, observe the frantic discussion internet wide of comet ISON. Remember Elenin? All the rage until it broke up, then silence. Comet Shoemaker? Big fuss too. So why not discuss what many people are talking about these days: Planet X or Nibiru? No can’t do that, because it gives legitimacy to Planet X. No, what they do is surreptitiously diss the *subject* of Planet X in a thousand ways, like death by a thousand cuts, only it’s not going away, is it?
Jay mentions “Patterns”. This is important, because when you are researching Planet X (Planet X research is *not* just browsing the internet, by-the-way), you have to have the right pattern in mind so you will see it when it passes by. Why a specific pattern? This is because there is *so_much* disinformation put out by the CIA/Black Ops (thanks U.S., nasty legacy to give to the world), plus you have ancient texts to study that tell of prior passages and it’s effects seen by those who lived through it. But if you looking for a massive comet, or a sun explosion, or an exotic implosion of Earth or other such nonsense, you will *not* see historical evidence.
Some of the pattern to look for: Planet X is a brown dwarf : an extremely dense planet with many accompanying moons and a massive debris field. It orbits our Sun between the “Dead Star” and our live one. It’s debris field causes massive fireballs prior to and during it’s passage. The history of Planet X is massive, every known civilization had it’s own name for Planet X: Sumerians – Nibiru, Incas – Hercolubus, Christian Bible – Wormwood, The Kolbrin bible – The Destroyer, the Oahspe – The Red Star, the Babylonians – Marduk. There are many other names, even the red dragon in Chinese lore is Planet X and correspondingly the Indian God Shiva.
So Planet X has a findable history, wealthy elite cover-up and disinformation proof and now we are seeing the effects of it’s presence in our solar system: Earth wobble. It all happening right now.
