A young groom from China’s Hubei province was so disappointed after seeing his bride for the first time, he actually tried to kill himself at his own wedding!
33-year-old Kang Hu was all set to marry 30-year-old Na Sung, a woman chosen by his parent, who he had never even seen before. But after laying eyes on her for the first time, at their wedding, he Kang found she did not meet his high standards. He stunned everyone by actually telling Na Sung that he found her ‘ugly’, and, claiming that she would be ‘bad for his image’, he simply walked out of the ceremony and tried to drown himself in a nearby river.
The media and entertainment industry create such hype by glamorizing picture perfect people on the screens that common people mistakenly think that this is what they should look like or expect in their partner.
Even these so called glamour models are not so perfect if you catch them when they wake up in the morning… they are made to look something that they are not with billion dollar cosmetic industry, special effects, photoshop tools etc…
Sad to see that humanity has totally lost it’s way.. even animals are better in choosing a mate and they are realistic to seek partners to help them survive successfully… superficial beauty is only of the skin that is soon to sag and lose it’s tightness anyway. Real beauty is present in every person because life comes from the soul within our body. Yes, it’s another matter that people are not in touch with their spiritual side and so the soul is unable to fully express it’s qualities but still there is much beauty that you can see if only we help people express their beautiful side.
Even the most beautiful man/girl is worthless as a trash if he/she is foul mouthed.
foul mouthed = harsh speaking
bravo, crunchy. bravo.
My heart goes out to that poor girl. On the bright side, he saved her from a life without love.
i would do the same if i am forced to get married no matter who thay make me marry .
beauty is inside.
the rest is just our container.
If I was forced to marry someone I never knew (which clearly implies a marriage of convenience AND disconnection of emotions and actual care for the other person) I would probably be very unhappy to the point of suicide. Slave Marriages in China, truly atrocious I say.
