Officials are saying the gunman, who died in the attack, called 911 and left a message pledging his allegiance to the Islamic State.

The vehicle belonging to the suspect had Indiana plates. In response to the possible threat which authorities had uncovered and stopped, a city official confirmed the suspect had been arrested and also confirmed security will be increased at the event being held this weekend.
