Legendary Ghost Photographed in Maine?

During an investigation of an allegedly haunted theater in Biddeford, Maine, a group of paranormal researchers believe they may have photographed a legendary ghost said to reside there.

The organization, known as EVP Paranormal of Maine, captured the intriguing image back in December at the historic Biddeford City Theater which was built in the late 1800′s.

Like most theaters, the building has its own ‘resident ghost’ which boasts quite the backstory.

On October 30th, 1904, a 33-year-old singer named Eva Grey died of heart failure backstage following a performance.

Since that time, tales of the departed singer’s spirit being seen lingering in the theater have become a part of Biddeford lore.

So when EVP Paranormal of Maine spotted a strange anomaly in an image from their investigation, suspicions that it might be the infamous Eva Grey soon followed.

That said, they concede that there’s no way of knowing for certain that the oddity is the late singer or even a ghost at all.

Nonetheless, they opted to share the photo since it stood out as fairly significant from their investigation and figured that people would enjoy parsing over the image to study it for themselves.

As one might expect, skeptics say that the ‘apparition’ is simply a photographic anomaly and not a modern day ‘performance’ from Eva Grey.

While the Maine-based researchers realize that opinions on the photo will vary wildly, group co-founder Caroline Mezoian assured C2C that there were no hijinks involved when the image was taken.
