The Liberator
From front page news From The Daily Mail. It looks like the sweet spot for the heaviest snow and some of the the strongest winds were in Massachusetts. 33.1 ” of snow for Lunenburg, wind gust peaked at the hurricane force of 75MPH.
It is being reported that snow continues to fall, and Juno may become one of the top snowstorms for Massachusetts of all time!
The National Weather Service said a wind gust of 78 mph was reported on Nantucket, and a 72 mph gust was reported in Aquinnah on Martha’s Vineyard.
I have a snapshot of the radar just before those wind gusts took place.
The daily mail has lots of photos of the aftermath of the storm, including a house by the water, COVERED IN ICE, Giant ship displacement and much more. Some spots were spared, but for many others, Juno was a brutal beast showing no signs of mercy!!
