If you live anywhere in the Northeast United States, the brutality of winter is not news this season.
This amazing drone footage of New York’s Hudson River gives you a different perspective of the cold spell affecting the United States (which sorry guys doesn’t seem to have an end in sight).
In the 1800s, the rivers surrounding Manhattan would regularly freeze over, enabling people to walk across the ice.
The ice isn’t that thick this year, but this video does give you a great view of the Hudson in rare form.
The footage was shot by principal “pilot” and photographer John M. Duber of DroneCaptain.net. You can find more of their work on their website.
