Another earthquake rattles Humla in less than 15 days

Magnitude 4.7 earthquake rattled Humla on Wednesday at 02:18 am, Nepal Seismological Center reported.
The epicenter was located NW of Simikot near Karnali River.

This is the second moderate earthquake to hit Humla in less than 15 days. Earlier, magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit Humla, Nepal on May 22.

No immediate damage or injuries have been reported.

Nepal has been already experienced around 294 aftershocks of magnitude 4 or greater since magnitude 7.9 Gorkha earthquake.

Similarly, magnitude 4.1 aftershock has been recorded in Sindhupalchowk at 02:45 am today. The epicenter was located between Baramchi and Jalbire.
