Flooding in Tema, Ghana has claimed lives of two people and displaced more than 6,500 people.

A young man was drowned after saving the life of the girl. An old woman who attempted crossing a drain was also swept away by the floods in Tema.

“Over 6,593 people have been displaced as a result of the floods in Tema,” Modern Ghana quoted Hajia Abdulai, Coordinator of Tema Municipal NADMO as saying.
