Current activity at Yellowstone Volcano shows 82 earthquakes

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations, responsible for the operation and analysis of the Yellowstone Seismic Network has shown total 82 registered earthquakes in the Yellowstone National Park region in June 2015.

The largest event was a small earthquake of magnitude 2.6 on June 21, at 04:40 PM MDT, located about 13 miles north northeast of Old Faithful, WY.

The largest swarm event was a small earthquake of magnitude 2.4 on June 14, at 01:06 AM MDT.
Yellowstone earthquake activity in June remained at low background levels.
There were total 75 registered earthquakes in May 2015 in the Yellowstone National Park region. The alert level of  Yellowstone volcano is “normal” and current aviation color code is “green.”

Yellowstone National Park is the world's first national park located in the United States.
