A surface low developing overnight tonight will up the wind gust across the region, gusting from 30-40 mph at times … and as the cold air is sucked southward the snowfall will begin by Wednesday morning in the warning area. Heavy snowfall with reduced visibility due to blowing snow will hit, with NE CO/NW KS seeing it first, spreading into NE through the rest of the day.
Accumulation is expected to be highest in SW NE, NE CO, with anywhere from 5-10″ of snowfall … with 2-5″ of snowfall for the rest of the area in the warning zones into NW KS and the far eastern warning zone in Nebraska.
