Well can’t say i didn’t warn about severe weather ! Check out my recent post about the Ongoing Solar Eclipse and todays New Moon!
It’s even mentioned in the the title of the post lol. Anyway things are going to get rough in the Middle East when it comes to the weather!
A series of disturbances tracking across the Middle East this week will spark heavy thunderstorms, threatening to bring flash flooding to the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Iran.
The rain and thunderstorms will expand into Pakistan, Afghanistan and India later this week.
The greatest threat for flooding through Thursday will stretch from eastern U.A.E. and northern Oman into southeastern Iran.
Low pressure passing from U.A.E. to southeastern Iran on Wednesday will cause heavy rainfall. As a result, cities in northern Oman such as Muscat and Sohar will be at a high risk for flooding.
These heavy thunderstorms will track into southeastern Iran as well, affecting areas from Bahl to Chabahar and inland towards Zahedan. Wednesday and Thursday will be the days with the highest risk for heavy rain and flooding in Iran.
Rain will threaten Dubai and Abu Dhabi through Wednesday with the heaviest rain expected east of the cities. Despite this, any drenching downpour could cause dangerous travel and flash flooding.
Residents are urged to never drive through flooded roadways. It may be impossible to know how deep the water is or if the road is washed away.
