Earlier this month, we rolled out a petition expressing support for Lowe’s business decision to pull its advertisements from the TLC show, “All-American Muslim.”
We are confident that the majority of Americans agree with us that Lowe’s is well within its right to pull an advertisement from any media outlet or production without the need for any explanation whatsoever. There is support for Lowe’s on that principle alone.
However, it’s not surprise that a very vocal minority has been using their mastery of the politically correct media not only to denigrate Lowe’s in order to elevate themselves, but to make an “example” of the company in order to intimidate other corporations and individuals.
But they haven’t been as successful as they had hoped. Lowe’s is continuing to stand its ground. We are sure that the support and encouragement they’ve been receiving from people such as those who have signed our petition is one reason why.
Last week we delivered over 30,000 names to Lowe’s. Have you signed the petition yet? If so, have you forwarded it on to at least 5 other people you know? There is still time to take action!

That being said, Islamist and left-leaning individuals and groups are continuing to put pressure on the Lowe’s organization. It is CRITICAL that America speak out in support of Lowe’s and thank them for standing their ground on this important issue.
To-date, we have had over 37,000 people sign our Lowe’s petition—but we need thousands more. We need to send a message both to Lowe’s and to the Islamists in our nation that America will continue to defend the freedoms that make her great. Here at ACT! for America, we’ve made it clear to Lowe’s that we will walk beside them every step of the way.

This is another reason I shop Lowe’s, not home depot…The Red, White & Blue of their storefronts are especially appealing, too!

Whereas I normally would not shop at Lowe’s as a matter of private preference (AND MOST ESPECIALLY WOULD NOT LEASE A SOLAR ELECTRIC SYSTEM FOR MY HOME THROUGH LOWE’S), now I am happy to publicly encourage others to do likewise, and to encourage to encourage others, too. THAT is a how a FREE MARKET SOCIETY works: Big Business behaves badly and we, the people, put them out of business.

We agree on all the major points you raise. Peripherally, I would add that an “idiot” is not “one who is unaware”, but one who places self-interest above the good of the community. It’s a Greek word with an important history, especially in a so-called democracy. In fact, democracy itself is the practice of persuading idiots via rhetoric and oratory talent. Admittedly, it’s a stupid system and has nothing to do with liberty, but let’s be a bit more careful how we use the word “idiot”, eh? The word packs a ounch when used correctly.
