One of the hardest things in life is to realise that your government is lying to you on a daily basis.
About everything, particularly this war thing we've lived with for so long.
Someone's making lots and lots of money financing war profiteering, a huge industry manufacturing stuff just to blow up… but our kids get blown up with it.
Funny how the banks win all the other financial bets, too like mortgages: Both ways: You pay back with interest, they win. You don't them back, they take your house, they win.
It's really hard to understand that capitalism is only for the already rich.
That takes some hard thinking and we only do that when there aren't any jobs, like now when they're taking as much as they can. Again.
Remember The Great Depression? It was really another Great "Transfer of Wealth".
Another hard one is that the God in your heart is the same God in the other guy's heart, the Communist and the Terrorist who are both someone's son or daughter and who all agree that there is only One God, right? So where's the beef?
I didn't start it, maybe the war profiteers did.
Maybe Marshall McCluhan was right, maybe there's another way to live, maybe his small global villages work better.
Maybe central power, like Communism, doesn't work and maybe one-off terrorists will fade when people realise that dead is dead.
Maybe small off-grid, self-sustaining communities make for better living than impossible debt and being scared all the time?
