How were the gashes in the Twin Towers cut? Missiles. Lots of them. JASSM missiles look like planes and carry a 900 pound dense-metal penetrating warhead meant for punching through hardened targets. JASSMs are bunker busters and several of them are capable of doing what a hollow aluminum 767 cannot – namely sever dozens of the exterior columns of the World Trade Center.
