A sworn complaint has been filed against Florida man who has admitted to using his cellphone camera to photograph and record video up women’s skirts and dresses.
Gainesville police say bartender Miguel Fernandez Annicaert, 29, has been charged with video voyeurism after he was caught by a Target employee monitoring video surveillance.
In the footage, Fernandez Annicaert is seen placing his phone in a shopper’s basket and sliding it underneath women in skirts or dresses.
The employee alerted police, and when questioned, Fernandez Annicaert admitted to using his phone’s camera to spy on women it Walmart, Publix, and Walgreens. He told police he would search the stores until he found a woman in a skirt or dress.
One woman identified in the surveillance footage was told of the gross invasion of privacy and she said she was aware that a man had gotten relatively close to her, but was unaware that he was recording under her dress.
Police have asked that anyone who may have been in the Archer Road-area stores in dresses or skirts recently to call detectives at the Gainesville Police Department.
