Of the 962 medals awarded, Latin America won 56.  Ranging from Mexico’s gold in soccer to Guatemala’s first olympic medal, Latin America did very well at the 2012 Olympic Games.  Check out HS News’ infographic to see which LatAm country had the highest medal count.
